Longstanding members of Britest, AstraZeneca first received Britest training in 2004. Since then the tools have primarily been used in process development, both in the areas of API and drug product. AstraZeneca has been active in several  Britest innovation projects and external collaborative projects including F³ Factory (modular chemical production and process intensification), and SYNFLOW (continuous processing). More recently, AstraZeneca has also participated alongside Britest as partners in the supply chain and digital design oriented projects,D3P, ReMediES and ADDoPT.   .
