Heidi Summerfield - Project Officer
Heidi joined Britest in July 2025 as a project officer having spent more than 25 years in journalism, education and academia.
After qualifying with a BA Hons degree from the University of Lancaster in English Literature and Spanish, Heidi began her career in journalism, where she spent 26 years developing her skills as a writer, researcher and communicator. This experience sharpened her eye for detail, honing organisational and time management skills. Spending a decade in education and academia enhance her people skills and her ability to work collaboratively and effectively.
Heidi is a problem solver, approaching challenges analytically, embracing new tasks with enthusiasm and resilience, and fostering a positive, can do culture. Heidi is hard working and committed to delivering high quality results, often going above and beyond to support the Britest team.
