Britest’s new Members’ Extranet site

Dear Member

We are pleased to announce the launch of Britest’s new Members’ Extranet site.

From this link you will be directly logged into the site. You will be prompted to set your new password, and then to update your contact details. Please uncheck the box if you do not wish your contact details to be available to other Britest users registered with the Members' Extranet. As with your previous log-in, your username will be your company email address followed by the new password you will be prompted to set. This will enable you to log-in directly from the Britest homepage – www.britest.co.uk - on all future occasions.

The primary purpose of the site is to provide Members with all the latest information, guidance notes, templates and supporting documents that will enable you to gain maximum value from the effective use of Britest’s tools, methodologies and enablers.

The site has been structured in direct response to your comments and feedback over the past year, with all key information now directly accessible from the homepage.

Other information includes:

  • A Member Support section
    • Britest User Group (meeting reports with links to member presentations)
    • Tools & methodologies training
    • Facilitation training, mentoring and support
  • A Document store
  • Board, GPFC and BISC Meetings
  • Members’ Day 2011 – presentations, posters, photo gallery
  • Standard Company information
  • A Members’ Directory – with profiles and contact details for all members / site users

Additional sections coming early in 2012 include:

  • A Discussion Forum - providing members with the opportunity to input directly to innovation projects and Britest’s key development areas. This will include an auto email alert to keep you up-to-date with all the latest posts from other members.
  • A Collaborative Projects section providing information and updates on Britest’s Technology Innovation Programme and external collaborative projects as they evolve.

We hope you like the new site and are able to access all the information / support you need from Britest easily. This is a ‘live’ and ‘dynamic’ site. As such, content will continue to evolve as we gather information and are able to share more learning from use of Britest tools, methodologies and enablers as well as our new collaborative innovation projects.

Please ensure you log-in frequently or sign up to receive updates when the Discussion forum goes live in January 2012.

In the meantime, please do let us have your feedback on the new site and any ways you think we could improve your experience.
