Britest was established in the late 1990s as a joint industry/academic collaboration focused on the research and application of new methodologies for process and manufacturing design.
Since then, Britest has been transformed from a UK Government funded research programme into a leading international not-for-profit company with a core team of eight employees.
Our methodologies work through a ‘toolkit’ which allows companies to analyse their development and manufacturing processes – including formulated products – in order to define improvements in productivity, manufacturing costs, energy efficiency, quality, environmental impact etc..
Our philosophy is to focus on the sustainable benefits that can be achieved through ‘transformational change’, selecting manufacturing strategies to deliver optimum performance based on the underlying chemistry and physics of the process
