I am pleased to inform you that Julie Henry has recently joined Britest on a four month industrial placement from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Industries Chimiques (Chemical Engineering University) in Nancy, France.

Julie is in her final year studying chemical engineering and specialising in process engineering.

During her time with us, Julie will undertake desk research on the current tools and approaches used by industry to measure sustainability. She will work under the supervision of Dr Mark Talford and produce a background report on which our future sustainability work will be based.

Julie has completed previous work placements at Solvay, Novacarb, Atomic Energy Commission, Huntsman and Cofathec Services in France.

I am sure you will all join me in welcoming Julie to Britest for this short industrial placement.
